At JEI Newark’s Summer Camp, students from Pre-K through 8th grade will enjoy a perfect blend of learning and fun designed to keep young minds sharp during the summer months. Our program focuses on strengthening essential academic skills in English, Math, and Writing through engaging, hands-on activities tailored to each child’s level. In addition to academics, students will participate in creative Arts & Crafts projects that encourage imagination and fine motor skills.
Each day begins with warm-up games to get kids energized, followed by focused academic sessions, writing workshops, and fun project time. Students spend about one hour on English and Math practice, 45 minutes on writing or project-based learning, and 30 minutes creating in Arts & Crafts. Our camp structure balances structured learning with creativity, ensuring campers stay motivated and excited throughout the session.
No prior experience or special materials are needed — we provide everything! All we ask is that campers bring a positive attitude, a small snack, and a readiness to have fun while learning. With half-day options available and a special $100 discount for families who enroll by May 15th JEI Newark’s Summer Camp is the perfect way to set your child up for success before the new school year begins!
