About
Jump Start Gymnasium
The mission at Jump Start Gym is to help families provide their children with strong emotional, social and physical foundations for them to jump-start their futures.
Coach Courtney is the founder of Jump Start Gym. She has a joy and passion for working with children, with more than 22 years of experience with children 3m-16yrs.
Kids will learn new skills in a fun and safe atmosphere. Introduction to all ball sports (eg: baseball, soccer, t-ball) Children will also participate in Arts and Crafts, Group games, Gymnastics. Every day winds down with story time. Jump Start will provide a healthy snack (please let us know of any allergies or food restrictions). Please send a lunch each day.
Recreation classes are designed to continue to develop the social, emotional and physical skills acquired in the pre-school class through learning more gymnastics. Children will be exposed to the compulsory skills/routines dictated by the United States Gymnastics Federation (USA gymnastics) as the foundation of these classes. All apparatus will be used, vault, bars, beam, floor and tumble track.

Courtney - Just You and Me Kid / Pre-school / Rec Gymnastics / Team / Manager
Courtney was born and raised in NYC. She was a competitive gymnast as a child and continued her talent through high school. She moved to Atlanta in 2002 and started coaching at the Ashford Dunwoody YMCA, where she quickly moved up to become the Gymnastics Coordinator, growing the program from 30 participants to over 300. She has always maintained her USA gymnastics safety certification and also keeps up with current pre-school certifications (formerly KAT, now HOT).
