Kai Leung’s Shotojuku Karate Dojo does not have upcoming sessions on ActivityHero right now. We can send you an email when they do.
Shihan Kai Leung has an intensive background in the Martial Arts and has been offering instructions since the 1970's. Whether you are interested in developing a sound mind or a healthy body, our Dojo offers unlimited classes six days a week. We have separate classes for different levels and separate classes for children and adults. We also offer team training classes in Kata, Kumite and Kobudo for our competition team.
Karate: The primary discipline that we teach at Kai Leung's Shotojuku is Kenkojuku style Shotokan karate. Students at Shotojuku start as a white belt and work their way to blackbelt over a period of several years by taking classes where we teach them kihon (basics), kata (forms) and kumite (sparring). There is broad spectrum of martial arts available for everybody to study today. Some martial arts are more sport oriented and others are more self-defense oriented while still others find some balance between the two.
Shihan Kai Leung, Master Instructor of the Shotojuku, is a founding member of the International Shotokai Karate-do Federation. His dojo is the Federation Headquarters.
