Katy Robotics Academy
We can’t predict what the hot new technology will be in five years, but we can predict confidently that it will include computer programming, electronic embedded systems, engineering design, and mathematics. If you believe these things, then you need to know that robotics has the ability to teach these concepts.
At the same time, robotics teaches 21st century skill sets like time management, resource allocation, teamwork, problem solving, and communications.
Our Staff
Jason Ritchie
Owner, Curriculum Developer, and Instructor
Jason Ritchie is an educator in and resident of Katy, Texas. He currently teaches in the Katy Independent School District and holds over 25 years of experience and success teaching students programming through the use of LEGO Mindstorms Robots.
Over the years, he has developed a style of teaching robotics that has helped thousands of students learn the fundamentals of computer science quickly to become successful programmers, problem solvers, and creative thinkers. When not programming robots, he also spends his time teaching private piano lessons in his studio.
