Kenpō Combat Academy does not have upcoming sessions on ActivityHero right now. We can send you an email when they do.
Kenpō is a Japanese fighting art that was brought from China to Japan about 700 years ago by the Yoshida Clan and was quickly adopted by the Komatsu Clan. The word Kenpō means literally, "Fist Law," but indirectly means the "Study of Fighting."
KCA Youth Center offers an age-specific martial arts-based program helping children develop social, intellectual, emotional, and physical skill sets while also fostering a healthy self-image. Our program helps ensure a more successful transition into main-stream activities as your child matures such as team and individual sports, classroom behavior, and peer and sibling relationship building. Classes are fun, educational, inspiring and safe.
Three to five-year-olds love physical activity and anything involving play. They have a rich imagination and a strong desire to be less dependent on their usual caregivers. With that said, Martial Arts can prove to be very successful. The problem is many children this age have a hard time with structure in a group environment, which is commonly found in most Martial Arts schools.
