Kiddie Kampus Co-Op Nursery does not have upcoming sessions on ActivityHero right now. We can send you an email when they do.
Established in 1948, Kiddie Kampus is one the oldest preschools in the Bay Area, and the only cooperative preschool in Alameda. We offer a place where children and parents develop, share, thrive, and grow together in a stimulating and creative environment. We are a play-based, part-time, cooperative preschool for children ages 3 to 5. Parents and trained teachers work together to provide a fun, enriching environment for our children. If you would like to come see what a typical morning is like at Kiddie Kampus, please visit our website to sign up for a tour!
Our philosophy and belief is that children learn best through play. Play is the essence of creativity! At Kiddie Kampus your child will have time to experiment and explore with other children in a positive, safe, and kind environment. Under the caring guidance of our teachers our children make decisions, solve problems, and build friendships which, in turn, stimulate growth in all areas. At Kiddie Kampus, play is truly a child's work!
Our Director and Teacher work closely together to provide a safe, loving, and stimulating school environment. They have training in Early Childhood Education, First Aid and CPR, and keep current with education techniques by annually attending workshops, classes, and conferences. Both Lori and Michelle's positive, caring attitudes toward the children uphold our preschool's goals, values, and beliefs.
Kiddie Kampus's Director, Michelle Carnahan, has a BA degree in Liberal Studies with an Early Childhood emphasis and has worked in early childhood for nearly twenty years. She was an assistant preschool teacher for Alameda Parks and Recreation before becoming the head teacher at Godfrey Park for ten years. Michelle has been with Kiddie Kampus since 2006 and is a wonderful asset to our expanding program.
