Lisa Albert Biography

     Born and raised in Australia. I have always had an incredible passion for art and teaching. With a bachelor of Education in art and art history and a minor in Art Therapy from New South Wales University in Sydney Australia and an ABA certificate from Newport Mesa Unified School District, I pride myself with the honor of having taught thousands of children in the Los Angeles and Orange County area.

     I have owned and operated the Lisa Albert Art Studio in Costa Mesa and Newport Beach for over 25 years. My classes are taught in after school programs, special events, private lessons at my studio and on site teaching to adults and children.

     This year I expanded my studio and started the Lisa Albert CLAY HOUSE. The Clay House specializes in painting your own ceramic piece that has already been made. There are Family Nights, Theme Plates for holidays and special occasions, Women's Vino Night out and much more.

     I specialize in mixed media, clay and painting, watercolor, pastels, printing, charcoals and more.

A little more about me....
I am married with three children and have three dogs. I volunteer for the Friendship Circle for young adults and children with special needs in Newport Beach. I have worked as a High School Art Teacher in Sydney, Australia and for the Orange County Dept. of Education, NMUSD, City of Newport Beach and the Brentwood Fine Arts Center in Los Angeles.
