MAAT Science Village

The Northern California Council of Black Professional Engineers sponsors an education and engineering field trip for minority students to the University of California at Davis, CA., annually.  The field trip includes seminars, presentations by UCD Black Engineers Association (BEA), students and NCCBPE members, game and science demonstrations, a guided tour of the UCD campus, reviews of science displays, and student lunch is provided.

MAAT Science Village is a leading force in promoting science education and awareness. It provides opportunities to have fun with science and Exhibitions using principles of Ma’at to generate a genuine interest in science and engineering among youth and the adult public. This national resource which focuses on the achievements of African Americans in science and technology needs your support to become a permanent community resource.
