A sharp tool is a safe tool. Learn sharpening techniques to keep your lathe tools well maintained and safe to use.
Here's what we'll cover in Tool Sharpening II: Lathe Skews: Establishing a bevel for a skew and bringing it to a razor sharp edge (and how to get it back quickly when it gets dull). Skews operate best when extremely sharp, so maintaining a good edge is paramount to successful turning with a skew.
To learn about sharpening skews or hand tools (plane blades, chisels, etc.) sign up for the next levels:
Tool Sharpening II: Lathe Gouges on Wolverine Jig
Tool Sharpening III: Chisels & Plane Blades
