Welcome to our Metalshop Fabrication Fundamentals workshop! This hands-on course is designed to teach students the fundamental skills and techniques necessary to work with metal and create their own custom metal pieces.
Fabrication Fundamentals will help enforce the use of welders and metal working tools. There are many variables to a metal project; the material you are using, the thickness of that material, the amount of heat put into that material, and the order that you assemble the project are just a few. It is important to understand not only how to use equipment but how to plan out a project. In this class we will work on designing and fabricating a shop step stool.
Over the course of the workshop, students will learn the basics of metalworking, including how to measure and cut metal accurately, how to bend and shape metal using different tools and techniques, and how to join pieces of metal together using welding techniques.
By the end of the workshop, students will have gained the confidence and skills necessary to create their own metal project. They will also have a strong foundation to continue their metalworking education and explore more advanced techniques.
Our experienced instructors will provide expert guidance throughout the course, ensuring that each student receives personalized attention and support. Join us for an exciting and informative journey into the world of metalworking!
