Exploring the sanctuary and discovering how habitats work together to form an ecosystem is what we are learning about. Adventurers spend their days exploring the trails on the sanctuary, playing non-competitive games and making new friends. Hiking to Overlook Rock is a highlight. Children will engage in activities such as rotting log exploration, ponding, bird identification, and butterfly studies. We also include time for games, stories, snack, and lunch. The Adventurers will hike to Overlook Rock off the Sagatabscot Ridge Trail during their session. Adventurers camper to staff ratio is 8:1.
