Private Sessions: A Private Session is a one on one session with one of our instructors. These sessions allow for the instructor to program directly to the individual needs and preferences of the client. A Private Session is most appropriate for clients who are looking for specific results or who have any significant special conditions or limitations that may make their participation in a group class dangerous or ineffective.
Ineke Rush Madsen - Instructor
Ineke Rush Madsen began her training in Pilates at the age of 12 in New York City with Carola Trier, a colleague and student of Joseph Pilates, whom she trained with extensively. She simultaneously trained at the School of the Dance Theatre of Harlem where the syllabus was influenced by Kathy Grant.
After a 10 year career as a professional ballet and modern dancer (Dance Theatre of Harlem, Cleveland San Jose Ballet, Ballethnic Dance Company, Cleveland Contemporary Dance Theatre), Ineke pursued her Pilates Certification with STOTT PILATES®. She is fully certified to work with all levels as well as those with post rehab injuries and other special conditions. She has been an Instructor Trainer since 2004, and was designated Lead Instructor Trainer in 2016. She has taught the STOTT PILATES certification courses and workshops all over the Bay Area, Northern California, and in Reno, Nevada.
Ineke is certified by the American Council on Exercise as a Personal Trainer and is licensed by the State Medical Board of Ohio in Massage Therapy. She holds a certificate to teach Total Barre and is a Total Barre Instructor Trainer for Merrithew, Inc. She is currently working toward her 200 hour RYT (Yoga) certification.
