Overview

Have fun, access your creativity, and try something new and different.

In this experience, our filmmakers will learn hands-on about all the parts of "real" film production in an accessible and playful process that is based on the principles of improvisation: be spontaneous, make your partner look good, and develop your ability to be a good listener and communicator.

Our teen filmmakers meet up three mornings a week in a password protected Zoom meeting to collaborate on an original movie they conceive, storyboard, film, act in, and edit together (remotely).  Sessions are led by Mopco's Artistic Director, Michael Burns.

This program combines social screen time with active filming time, so it’s a great way to stay active, make new friends, and foster creativity while staying safe this summer.  And it all culminates in an online PREMIERE on Mopco's YouTube channel.

Disclaimer: The final product WON'T look like something by a Hollywood studio. But it'll be fun to watch!
