Nicholas Dance Studio offers dance and fitness classes, rehearsal space, and community programming open to artists and dance enthusiasts of every age. We welcome people of all levels to have fun in our classes, which include Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Yoga, and Tiny Tappers. Our nightly Adult dance and fitness classes are open to every adult wanting to live a healthier lifestyle, fit back into those pair of jeans, or just get away from the house to sweat it out for a girls (or guys) night out. It is our mission to share a love of the arts and invite you to explore movement in a judgement free zone. We look forward to dancing with you soon!
Harold and Fayard Nicholas, The Nicholas Brothers, had a career that spanned 60 years and entertained generations all over the world. Fayard’s granddaughter, Cathie Nicholas, is continuing their legacy and sharing her love of the arts with the Los Angeles community.
Our Staff
Continuing the legacy, Artistic Director, Choreographer, Master Teacher and the Creative Inspiration behind Nicholas Dance Studio, is ‘Ms. Cathie’, the granddaughter of Fayard Nicholas of the legendary, dynamic dance duo, the Nicholas Brothers! She has performed at Carnegie Hall, London, England, taught Master Classes at Stanford and Duke Universities and at Tap Festivals in Detroit, Las Vegas, St. Louis, and Philadelphia to name a few of her accomplishments.
