Odyssey Dance Academy
Odyssey Dance Academy is a family-friendly community of talented dancers and supportive parents. We strive to provide top-tier dance education and encourage our dancers to push themselves to reach their goals while maintaining a safe environment and a healthy lifestyle. We have weekly classes for dancers aged 2.5 years and older, including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, and Acro/Tumble. Our competition team grows every year and our dancers have placed in the overall awards numerous times and have received scholarships for dance and performing arts.
We pride ourselves on our diverse teaching staff who collectively make up the backbone of Odyssey through their commitment to teaching and their beautiful choreography. We love our staff and students!
Our Staff
Emily Williams - Artistic Director
Emily began her dance training in Orange County at the age of three. Since then, she has grown in her love for dance and has intensified her training in the areas of Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Pointe, Tap, and Hip-Hop. In pursuit of widening her artistic experience, she has studied Musical Theater at the Arts and Learning Conservatory and Ballet, Theatre, and Visual Arts at the Orange County School of the Arts. Emily danced at UCI with the Bare Bones Dance Theatre, and in the OCC Student Dance concert. She has choreographed for Newport Platinum Dance Academy and Odyssey Dance Academy's competition team; receiving awards for her choreography and helping her students to challenge themselves throughout the year. Emily is know for her attention to technique and advanced training, but also loves to teach beginning students and share her love for dance.
