Olive Treehouse Group

We focus on educating the whole child. Imaginative play, visual and dramatic arts, storytelling, yoga and academic programs all nurture aspects of the young child’s development. We provide children with the tools needed to succeed in kindergarten and beyond. Not only do we teach our students letters and numbers, we demonstrate respect and compassion, and empower children to make good decisions which aids socialization in a classroom environment.

Our program is for children ages 2 – 5 years old. Our curriculum includes art, music, theater, reading, storytelling, imaginative play, yoga, dance, gardening, foreign language, nutrition, exploration (science), early literacy and math concepts that are taught in a creative and progressive way. Socialization skills are an integral part of all lessons; properly preparing children for a classroom environment.

Our Staff

Ashley Sobel - Executive Director

Ashley joined the Olive Treehouse Group in 2014, after spending seven years working as the Director of River School, a large private nursery school on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. She holds her Bachelor’s degree from New York University and a Masters's degree in Early Childhood Education from Teachers College at Columbia University, as well as her New York State Teaching License for Birth-2nd Grade.
