The Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts Family Programs

We are the American art museum and a specialized and unique art school that attracts some of the most committed and promising art students from across the country and around the globe to study painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture and illustration with a distinguished faculty of working artists.  Our Youth and family programs engage parents and children with the Museum and promotes the transformative power of art making.

Founded in 1805
Our Staff

All teaching artists and staff undergo a thorough interview and screening process and comply with PA state hiring standards for background checks and clearances through the Human Resources department.  Art Instructors have undergraduate and graduate level degrees in art and/or art education, and special education. All of the Staff are paid and are over 18 years of age and have previous experience working with children.
