Palo Alto High School Science and Engineering Camp is open for registration!
Taught by Paly's very own Science Olympiad team, our camp aims to cultivate the next generation of leaders in science and engineering. Designed for students of all experience levels, our camp offers the perfect opportunity for your child to explore the world of STEM through safe laboratory demonstrations, personalized coaching, and hands-on activities. Past activities have included aerodynamic rocket design, light pathway manipulation, fingerprinting, paper chromatography, DNA extraction, and much more. This year, we will be holding the camp at Paly with a combination of lectures, games, and hands-on activities!
Due to high demand, registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Both sessions will be from 7/21 to 7/25. Session 1 will be 9 am - 12 pm and Session 2 will be 1 pm - 4 pm. The material will be identical for both sessions so there is no need to sign up for both! Each session is $350 per student.
As a school-affiliated team, all profits go towards supporting the Paly Science Olympiad team for the 2025-2026 season. This helps students compete in science events like Astronomy, Chemistry Lab, Dynamic Planet, Disease Detectives, Air Trajectory, Entomology, and more. The income pays for materials, transportation, textbooks, and tournament fees necessary to compete!
So if you have a child who loves science, or who just wants to try something new, be sure to sign up for Paly's Science and Engineering Summer Camp!
