S-TEAM Rangers

S-TEAM Rangers is a two-week virtual summer day camp for students in rising grades 4-6. PS Science Instructors will lead campers as they conduct in-depth, collaborative investigations in an engaging and social setting.

 
Structured to engage
S-TEAM Rangers is structured to maintain engagement through active, multimodal learning. Camp time will alternate between full group instructional sessions, small-group mentor-assisted break-out sessions, and independent work time. Campers will receive a 30 minute break during the half-day.

 
In-depth experiential learning
S-TEAM Rangers offers two-weeks of summer fun that helps kids meet educational goals and instill a lifelong desire to investigate. Although S-TEAM Rangers provides a relaxed learning environment fit for summer fun, activities are designed in alignment with PS Science’s constructivist learning model which emphasizes experiential learning, problem-solving, and “figuring things out”. Each activity is designed to improve critical thinking, creativity, and communication skills.
