RAMONA CAMP is a summer day camp for boys and girls entering 1st through 6th grade. The camp is held on the beautiful grounds of Ramona Convent Secondary School in Alhambra.
BIKING is a big part of Camp Ramona. Some campers learn to ride for the first time, while others are introduced to the fun of mountain biking. Our trails offer different levels of difficulty for all skill abilities. Children bring their own bikes to Camp, and may store them here in a secure location throughout their stay with us.
SWIMMING is the all-time favorite “cool” activity. Our certified lifeguards and counselors keep non-swimmers in the shallow end. Private swim lessons are also offered for an additional fee. Other fun alternative activities are offered in the gymnasium during swim time for those who may choose not to swim
GAMES: We have so many! Younger kids like to dress up and use their imagination. Puzzle solvers like to learn chess and play checkers, while the LEGOS are always popular also. There’s always tennis, basketball, and arts and crafts. Roller blading, skating, ping pong, air hockey, and caroms have been an added attraction in recent years. Kids have fun being active while learning. Counselors are trained to respect the individual child’s ability and comfort zone.
HOURS:
Camp Ramona operates Monday-Friday from 8:00-5:00. Half-day sessions and 3-day-a-week sessions are also available. All sessions are one week long. Camp will be closed on Monday, July 5th, 2021. Please see our Registration page for the various programs, and their respective fees.
Thank you.
