This is a school year-long (9/6/2024-5/30/2025) program.
Overview
Let's master 3D modeling and 3D animation with the most commonly used open-source software Blender.
3D modeling and animation have changed many industries such as entertainment, retail, manufacturing, healthcare, pharmaceutical, and construction. You know many movies, videos, and games using 3D technologies. Do you know 75% of IKEA catalog photos are 3D modeling, not real photographs?
3D technologies are turning to must-have skills like programming.
3D modeling and 3D animation are difficult like programming and require a lot of knowledge to start with and experience to be proficient.
In this camp, your child will develop spaceships while learning the fundamentals of 3D modeling.
Then produce a simple animation with them.
What students will learn
How to use Blender for 3D modeling and 3D Animation
Fundamentals of 3D modeling
Fundamentals of 3D animation
What students will create
Your child will develop several mini 3D modeling projects to master the fundamentals.
Your child will develop two 3D spaceship models, and an explosion simulation.
Your child also produces two animations with the spaceships and a humanoid.
After this program
Your child will be able to develop 3D models that can be used in 3D Animation with Blender.
Your child will also be able to develop cool 3D Animations.
The 3D skills that your child learns from this program can be applied to different 3D software such as SolidWorks, Fusion 360, and others.
Minimum four students.
