Intro to Sprint Kayaking Camp

River Town Racers is an all-ages kayak and surfski racing team based in Petaluma, competing locally, nationally and internationally.

Due to our summer racing schedule, this camp is the one time during the year for prospective new club members to try out the sport of sprint kayaking and apply to become members of River Town Racers year-round training and racing club.

Successful applicants generally posses the following attributes:

• Live in or within easy reach of Petaluma.
• Able to endure sustained physical effort.
• Able to take directions for coaches.
• *We have limited scholarship funding available. Please apply if you are unable to mange the full cost of camp.
