Our Staff
Three things make Rose Institute staff unique. . .
1. Experience. Our staff are highly qualified in the realm of communications, speech, debate, and public speaking.
2. Youth. Our students really look up to their Rose Institute Instructors. Many of our staff are currently pursuing degrees in the sphere of business and communications. This enables us to connect with our young audiences not just as teachers, but mentors as well.
3. Training. All Rose Institute teachers have studied under founder, CEO, and master speaker Paul Rose. They have all been trained specifically to teach Rose Institute's tailored lessons to great effect.

My kids have taken several Rose Debate courses. They are GREAT! kids learn in a fun way from storytelling to organize the thinking and speech top-down, how to tell jokes, memorize and deliver speeches... Coaches are trained, very professional, and fun. A+ your kid will love it - Gabby T

Paul and Robert Rose are top-notch debate instructors and have created a program that caters to kids of varying skill-sets and prior experiences, and in a very short time gets them to be confident and fluent in the art of debating…I could see the development in my 12 year old daughter and the general confidence she has displayed in her demeanor as part of taking this class.

Beginning Debate is a well organized course that covers the foundation of debate in a clear and concise manner. My middle school children were able to learn much from the excellent teachers, Bob and Paul Rose. The Rose brothers kept the class focused and interesting. Examples and exercises made concepts come to life. My children really enjoyed the end of the course debate competition. For us, the course was well worth the one hour commute (each way), and we all are looking forward to joining them for another summer of debate.

Our instructors have substantial experience in speech and debate at the high school and college level, and go through a rigorous and ongoing training process as Rose Debate instructors. Our programs focus primarily on practice rather than lecture – about two-thirds of each class will be spent practicing skills and receiving feedback, and the remaining third will be used to learn new skills and develop foundational understandings.
