Overview
School of Rock Camps are a fun way to spend your summer learning music!
Through workshops, clinics, and private instruction, our comprehensive camp experience is designed to hone performance skills in a safe and cool environment. Just like team sports, playing in a band speeds the learning process and quickly creates seasoned musicians. Even more advanced students will be amazed at their progress!
5-Day camps run Monday-Thursday from 9am-3pm, Friday from 9am-12pm, with a concert on Friday around noon!
Students work in a hands-on atmosphere that includes: Learning the nuts and bolts of live performance, studio/band rehearsal time, instruction and clinics with music professionals, Rock & Roll music appreciation, interacting with other young musicians, a LIVE rock show performance for your friends and family...and lots of fun!
**SUMMER CAMPS ARE FOR AGES 7-17 - Students with no prior experience, should come in for at tour and meet the Music Director prior to enrolling.
CAMP SCHEDULE:
MON-THUR: 9AM to 3PM - Make sure to bring your own instruments, lunches and snacks!
FRIDAY: 9am-12PM - Final Performance around noon! (check with the school for actual performance time)
All camps are subject to minimum enrollment. Space is limited.
Cancellation Policy:
Camp session may be moved to a later camp date, with ZERO fees, if done 7 days before camp start date.
50% of the registration fee is non-refundable
100% of camp tuition is non-refundable if canceled on the first day of your scheduled camp

My son has been involved with School of Rock for two years and it is wonderful. He is learning musical skills, but also being exposed to lots of great music. The instructors are talented, encouraging and great communicators and the other students become friends fast.

Laid back approach draws my son in and makes playing music fun. He really enjoys the band aspect and having input in songs taught. The teachers make it fun to learn various instruments, and music history, while applying social skills and collaboration.

We just referred a friend into the program, so yes, we love it. My child has been attending for 5 years and has grown into a performance band group as well. He enjoys the social aspect of the school a lot. He's also grown more confident and relaxed in his performances. His personality is coming out more on stage and he enjoys being part of the group. He's becoming more versatile by learning both guitar and bass with an occasional keyboard lesson thrown in for good measure. The staff and teachers at his local SOR are supportive and very helpful. The school has grown its use of technology in service of families and does a great job of problem-solving when I run into issues. I'm a fan!
