She Summits Co. is an adventure travel company primarily based in and offers trips out of Maine. We offer experiences for women and gender minorities of all ages.
Our Youth Summer Camp Adventure Trips are crafted with passion and expertise, offering an extraordinary blend of thrilling outdoor activities, skill-building challenges, and unforgettable memories. Imagine embarking on a journey that not only ignites an adventurous spirit but also fosters lifelong friendships and a deep appreciation for nature.

Our Staff
Our vision for our staff is to have the experience and certifications when they leave our program to be able to embark on their own outdoor industry journey with the knowledge they need. Our training timeline includes 20 hours of virtual modules and 3-4 weeks of in-person training:
- WMA’s Wilderness First Responder (CPR and Epi-Pen Certification)
- Mental Health First Aid/ Self-Care
- State of Maine Trip Leader Training ( for those that are not Registered Maine Guides)
- Food Handler Certification
- Lifeguard Certification (at least one lifeguard on each trip)
- Mandatory Reporter Training
- 1-2 Days with a Maine Naturalist
- Indigenous History of Maine (how to pronounce mountain and river names here)
- Maine Natural History
- Backpacking In 100 Mile Wilderness with Katahdin Summit
- Meeting all of our Third-Party Vendors (Rock Climbing and Sea Kayaking)
- Travel to Campsites for Orientation of Them
- Acadia National Park Hiking
- Facilitation Training with Icebreakers and Group Games
- Leave No Trace Awareness Training
- 2 Days of Van Driving Orientation
