Overview

Work together as a team in Minecraft to develop creativity and problem-solving skills through active planning, troubleshooting, and spatial building scenarios. You won't believe how much this fun virtual world can teach you!

This program takes fun Minecraft gameplay and make it super-educational. Not only do children learn valuable architectural design and spacial building skills, but they participate in team projects to enhance communication skills, teamwork and problem-solving skills.

Your child will accompany us into the limitless world of Minecraft and become a master of every domain! This program has it all, from teaching your child how to navigate in the world using coordinates and the sun, to exploring architectural design, and even using circuits to create machines that respond to your coding! Collaboration is key as they communicate and plan together for the larger designs.

This program will develop creative and cooperative problem-solving skills through active planning, troubleshooting, and spatial building scenarios. You won't believe how much this virtual world can teach you!

Children should have experience playing Minecraft before they attend this program to optimize the experience and learning.

Program Requirements:
1. Make sure that Minecraft is downloaded onto the student’s playable device. For this camp, all compatible devices are: a PC with Windows 10, Xbox, Playstation, Nintendo Switch, or Tablet (iPad or Fire).
     - NOTE: If you are using a Mac computers are not compatible with this camp.
     - JAVA edition will NOT work for our camp

2. If playing on an Xbox or Nintendo, you will be required to have an Xbox Live Gold or Nintendo Online subscription.
3. Make sure you are signed-in to your Microsoft account before the camp or you won't be able to access the realm.

Both Akhil and Siyona had not read up on Harry Potter books, so both of them did not enjoy it as much. The prerequisite for the class did not say that the kids should be knowing details about Harry Potter. We were disappointed as we booked this class for both the cousins in different time zones to hang out and have fun together during the holidays, and they were kind of bored not knowing details about HP.

I am so sorry to hear this. I apologize for any confusion. We do assume that kids are drawn to the topics and themes that they are knowledgeable about. We will definitely use this feedback to look at our descriptions and make sure we make it less confusing.
