Overview

We’re offering a unique hands on learning experience that we believe is just what your child will enjoy.

Based at our historic and fully active boatyard, Summer Camp Programs provide an opportunity to develop sailing skills in addition to the use of hand and small power tools.  Everyone has the opportunity to spend plenty of time on the water as well as our in wood working shop. Additionally, we will spend time on traditional maritime skills such as reading a chart and understanding the tides and currents, as well as learning a number of knot-tying skills.

In all our activities, we strive to learn through hands-on engagement, observation, and development of craft skills.

We will provide sanitizer bottles, gloves, and all their water safety gear.

Looking forward to seeing you there!

My son loved this camp from the first day. When I picked him up in the afternoon, he got in the car and told me (unsolicited!) how great this camp was and that he really liked the camp leaders. He wanted me to sign him up for more. They take the kids sailing or kayaking in the morning and they work their model boats in the afternoon. He learned skills in sailing, design, and woodworking that he can use forever. We will be back next summer.
