Speiser/Sturges Acting Studio is new in name only. Aaron Speiser has been Los Angeles’ premier acting teacher and coach for over thirty years and Shannon Sturges has been studying with Aaron for almost as long. When Aaron finally convinced Shannon to teach for him full time, he realized that he had a partner in the studio that he had trained, who was beloved by the students and a truly gifted teacher in her own right.  Thus, Speiser/Sturges Acting Studio was born. Shannon and Aaron will continue to connect you to your passion and inspire you to excellence.

Specialty Classes: We regularly offer special classes at the studio, in addition to our popular technique and scene study classes. We offer voice classes, dialect training, improv classes, commercial workshops, audition technique, cold reading, and comedy intensives. We bring experts in teaching as well as using our talented staff of instructors. If you want to learn it, Speiser / Sturges can teach it to you.

Private Coaching: Not only do we offer some of the best acting classes in LA, but Speiser / Sturges also has experienced tremendous success in helping clients book the jobs as well as fine-tuning performances, through our private coaching. While people tend to think of private coaching as primarily for auditions, it can also be utilized to accelerate the learning process for both the craft & the business of acting.
