Since 1982, the mission of Stanbridge Academy has been to provide a comprehensive, structured academic environment for students who learn differently. We know what it means to have a child who is not “a cookie-cutter kid,” and we understand the frustration of parents who have seen their children struggle in schools that simply were not the right fit.

Head of School, Julie Smith

In April 2016, Stanbridge Academy named Julie Smith as our Head of School. Julie has been a head of school for more than 25 years, and her background also includes roles as a teacher and learning specialist, drawing on her master’s degree in special education.
