Sunshine Rafting Adventures
Sunshine Rafting Adventures has been running river rafting trips on the Stanislaus River out of Knights Ferry for over 30 years. Sunshine Rafting has a history of running a number of sections of the Stanislaus, with the mainstay in Knights Ferry being the crown jewel.
From the inception of the company, the idea was to provide affordable, family-friendly fun that was engaging and healthy. Sunshine prides itself on a knowledgeable and friendly staff that support our customers and is the closest rafting to San Francisco, San Jose, and the larger Bay Area.
Kayaking: Kayaking has picked up popularity in recent years, and kayaking on the Stanislaus River out of Knights Ferry is no exception. Every weekend, you can see dozens of kayaks on our Knights Ferry to Orange Blossom trip. If you have a group of 2, you can reserve one of these beginner-friendly inflatable kayaks! Their wide base and comfortable seating make them perfect for all skill levels, as they are easy to paddle but difficult to tip over!

Shiloh grew up in the rafting industry and has been a part of the Sunshine crew for over 20 years. If you have rafted with Sunshine in the last decade, you have probably seen him out on the river giving safety talks, helping organize groups, and generally just being happy on the Stanislaus River!
