How classes work
Your child will complete creating animations, stories, and games using Scratch, a program developed by MIT to help students learn the basics of coding. The students will be designing and programming on the internet-based site. It is helpful but not required that students have a Scratch login that they can use and remember the login for, as unfortunately, they are not able to save the projects they create otherwise. We will, however, take some pictures of your child and their creations and email them when the class is over. At the end of each day, your child will complete a “Look what I did!” take-home worksheet that you can use to help initiate STEM conversations.
Let’s get your young coder going!
