Overview

Student-Teacher Ratio 12:1

The kids will build sophisticated bots using LEGO® bricks and award-winning WeDo software. It's such a cool way to learn advanced problem-solving and engineering skills!

How Classes Work

Your child will complete six projects in Robotics 201. Working with a partner, the duo will build and program a new model each week, discussing options, investigating and imagining as they go. We’ve woven STEM skills and concepts through each lesson, and the kids will build machines to help animate their robotics. It’s a great combination of fun and learning.

At the end of each project, your child will complete a “Look What I Did” take-home worksheet. Please feel free to use it at home to ask questions and start STEM discussions.

You are welcome to come to our center 15 minutes before the end of each class. In fact, we encourage it. It’s a wonderful way to see the learning in action and get your own look at these very cool robots.

Please let your child know that the kids don’t keep the robots at the end of class. After each class, the robots are taken apart, so we can reuse the LEGO® bricks in upcoming classes. The good news is we’ll email you project details, photos and videos of the kids working on their creations, so you can save the memories or share them with family and friends.
