Overview

Are you ready to learn more game coding skills with Scratch?  This intermediate-level class creates larger games with more complex game logic such as gravity simulation, high-score systems, and clone use.  Additionally, we will teach you how to create your own custom coding blocks (the Scratch equivalent of creating functions).  By the end of the week, students will have completed 2 games: a chase and rescue Pac-man style game, and Nether Escape, an infinite runner game which you can skin for a Minecraft adventure, if you wish.

Join us to take your Scratch skills to the next level!

PC, Mac or Chromebook Computer.  No ipads/Android tablets (unless you have an attachable keyboard)  as they do not support games with keyboard actions.

Our son had the best time! He was a little nervous when we dropped him off the first day but was so excited when we picked him up and looked forward to each day of the camp.

My son loved it, but it seems to be more loosely organized than I was expecting.

My 6yo had a great time at this camp. Would definitely consider doing it again.
