About
Temple Judea

Temple Judea is a warm, welcoming, thriving Jewish family. From our youngest members in our Early Childhood Center to our seniors in TJ Village - our hope is that by becoming a part of our synagogue, your spiritual life will be enriched with joy, encouragement, and relationship. Our tradition teaches us that synagogues are meant to fulfill three major functions: worship, learning, and connection. Temple Judea strives to be a place for all three.

Our worship opportunities enable you to take a break from the obligations of everyday life for meaningful reflection and celebration. We emphasize music as an integral part of the prayer experience, blending traditional melodies with a modern interpretation to inspire all ages.

The core of our educational programs is to create a love of lifetime learning across the generations. It’s never too early or too late to begin your journey, whether you’re a new parent in our Early Childhood Center or a mature adult seeking a fresh approach to the Judaism you learned as a child. We also welcome those with no Jewish background to
experience the beauty of our traditions.

Since 1952, we have been committed to tikkun olam, reaching out beyond the Jewish community to heal the world through the values of Reform Judaism and Torah. We provide a wide variety of opportunities for you and your family to make a powerful impact on those who are struggling in greater Los Angeles community.

We create meaningful, inspiring, innovative Jewish moments that resonate with individuals and families through the generations. While our paths may vary, the destination remains the same. Judaism teaches us that by connecting with each other, we can make tomorrow a better day.
