Tessellations School & Summer Camp

Tessellations, a Pre-K to 10th grade independent, progressive school tailored for gifted students, was created in 2020 by a group of like-minded families and educators dedicated to serving the needs of the whole child.

Anne Beneventi, a nationally recognized gifted specialist and visionary educator, infuses Tessellations with her wisdom and deep understanding of the gifted population. Our talented, dedicated staff specializes in educating gifted children and empowers them to confidently express who they are.

Through challenging experiential education, Tessellations’ curricula recognize and nurture the individual strengths of gifted learners, supporting their development in pursuing a meaningful life. Our outstanding teachers do a tremendous job of keeping their classes engaged, strongly facilitated by our intentionally low student-teacher ratio (approximately 5:1) during the school year and (8:1) during the summer season.

Open to current Tessellations students, incoming Tessellations students, and rising kindergarten through tenth-grade students from around the SF Bay Area and beyond, our summer program offers students with a glimpse of the magic that takes place at Tessie during the school year. Our program consists of half-day workshops, full-day workshops with fieldtrips or special guest speakers, and day camp for students to explore areas of interest, build friendships, develop 21st-century skills, and to have fun! A majority of our workshops are taught by our very own teaching faculty, and our day camp is led by our after-school program team.
