Texas Tar Heels Basketball Academy
In 2003, The Texas Tar Heels AAU Select Basketball League began it's winning track record with just one team of first-graders. We have devoted the past 17 years to building up our players both on and off the court. Our select basketball program is known as one of the most respected and successful sports organizations in the region.
Our Staff
Coach Nate Brewer holds an NCAA Coaching Certificate with 17 years’ experience coaching competitive / AAU basketball in the DFW area. Additionally, he is a graduate of the Police Academy at Denton County Sheriff's Office and former member of the Texas Gang Association. He is dedicated to working with his players to reach their maximum potential and successfully creating opportunities for exposure to college coaches. Coach Nate utilizes basketball as a vehicle to work with student athletes to help keep them on positive pathways. Teaching the importance of integrity, the value of hard work, and respect for others. He has blended his professional law enforcement experience with his passion for basketball to create one of the most reputable select basketball programs in the DFW area.
