Dr. Orna had an amazing way of teaching scientific concepts in a hands on and engaging way. My son learned so much about weather through drawing, making his own weather instruments, and fun experiments. We are looking forward to more classes in the spring!

My 8yo really enjoyed this class. I was impressed how they were able to engage with each of the kids given it’s an online class and my daughter had enough time to follow the activities along with the instructor. I look forward to enrolling again!

The Art in Science has been the best learning program we have ever done! Dr. Orna is wonderful with kids and has a rare gift in combining scientific concepts with super FUN activity based learning. We have done several of her classes so far and will be starting a new one shortly. My child feels empowered and validated as Dr. Orna treats each young person with respect while instilling value in the learning process. My child is always excited for "Dr. Orna days" each week and says it's like "playing and having fun while getting smarter the whole time". WIN! Additional bonus: Her scientific vocabulary has increased 10 fold and she knows terms I don't even know! lol Highly recommend!

It's a best virtual class ever! Exceeded my expectations. The teacher Dr. Orna is super enthusiastic and patient with my 5.5 years old son. Completely enthralled the entire 50mins of class. Highly recommend!

My 5.5yr old son absolutely loved the classes! The teacher, Dr. Orna, is very friendly and she instantly bonds with the children. She explains the concepts very articulately in a way the children can understand, and she encourages them to think about their projects and come up with different solutions. I highly recommend these classes, my son will definitely be taking more!

We love Dr. Orna! She is so great and patient with the kids and really knows her stuff. She makes science fun and accessible through hands on learning. Classes are flexible in the sense that we were able to join a makeup class when we were not able to make one of the scheduled classes (for a previous series). Highly recommend.

Great camp, my son learned a LOT and the activities were very engaging. I have an issue with responsiveness to questions via email. My son had missed a session and I reached out to ask for instructions for him to do missed activity at home. Didn't receive a response.

Dr. Orna is a fabulous teacher! She presents the material succinctly with engaging handouts, examples, and hands-on experiments. I appreciate how she presents the material to my youngster as the competent junior scientist she is. We highly recommend Dr. Orna's classes.

Cool experiment ideas but it seem to take too long for the teacher to mentally target in to the daily experiment, explain the vocabulary, science concepts and finally spend time on the experiment itself.

Hello Dr. Orna, my grand son took many of your classes. I have been attending your classes with him, Initially I was with him to help him, but your classes very fascinating to me, I liked your simple ways of teaching such small kids! I appreciate your interest and patience! It's really very useful! He learned quite a lot in his summer break! I too learnt a lot!

Awesome opportunity for my kids to learn about the solar system. They loved learning about it and the activities.

My daughter really liked this class. Her favorite part was the class when she made the comet. She loves to say that she learnt that the Earth is very far away from the sun.

Teacher was engaging and topic was good. I hoped for a better craft to connect the content but overall my kiddo enjoyed it.

Dr. Orna's class was one of the best zoom classes (and we've tried about a dozen)! My daughter (8) enjoyed Chemistry 1 so much, we ended up signing on for Chemistry 2 and then a 3rd session for Kitchen Chemistry. Orna made learning science fun. Doing at home science experiments was on my long list of indoor activities that I never got around doing. I was so happy to find Orna's class online to do these projects with my daughter! Orna was always patient with all the kids whether they had technical issues or questions about the experiments. We're on the east coast, and I found the timing worked out better being at 5:30pm vs right after school ended. Although the past year was crazy, Orna's class will always be a fond memory during the pandemic. I wish we lived in CA so we could take the classes in person.

Dr. Orna is so knowledgeable and patient with the kids. Everyone learns and has fun. They all get a chance to talk and express themselves and thats greatly needed and appreciated.

We are so happy that we found Dr. Orna's classes during the pandemic when school was all virtual and learning is limited. These classes in The Art in Science are treasures! My 5.5-year-old has joined several sessions including biology (biome and microbe) and Into the Space. The class size is usually small so he (who doesn't like to speak up in group settings) had chances to interact with the teacher. The contents are important science topics that matter in our living environment (e.g. Coronavirus) and Dr. Orna always comes up with some fun activities and/or crafts (e.g. making a Coronavirus model using the household items) for the young kids to understand the concepts. Last, Dr. Orna is very accommodating to the busy working mom. Thank you, and we look forward to joining more classes with The Art in Science.

These classes have been a real silver lining for my kids this year! They are really well-run & fun. My kids have done so many cool hands-on projects, even making a foosball table/box and compass. They have become really hooked on science and impress me with all the knowledge they've soaked up--on everything from black holes to atom structures to magnets...at 5.5 and 7.5 years old! They can't get enough of these classes!

Very enjoyable and lots of hands on fun. A fun experience for my daughter.

We have taken so many of Dr. Orna’s classes. My son simply loves them. They are so educational (moms perspective) but also engaging, fun, and creative. I highly recommend any of her classes and literally do recommend her classes to all of our friends. Hooray for Science!

Dr. Orna makes sure that kids understand that chemistry is a science. She asks questions, makes kids think. She sends to parents a short review of each class and new vocabulary. We signed up more 2 other classes.

100% recommend to anyone! My 8 year old son loved this class! He learned chemistry vocabulary and concepts. The experiments were selected to reinforce what was learned in a fun and exciting way for the students. My son enjoyed teaching his older siblings what he learned in class. Dr. Orna was a superb teacher - professional and engaging with excellent communication skills.

We have been thoroughly enjoying our classes with Dr. Orna. My 5-year-old is engaged in learning the science concepts and vocabulary through Dr. Orna's lessons. He also really enjoys creating the fun hands-on art projects each class that tie into the concept of the day. For curious kids, these classes are great and Dr. Orna is super knowledgeable and great at relating to and engaging the children. Two thumbs up!

This was our very first experience with ActivityHero and my twins are hooked. The twins thoroughly enjoyed the Astronomy session with Dr. Orna. She was very engaging and now my kids want more session. I’m very pleased with this program and plan to register for more classes.

Both my kids thoroughly enjoyed Dr Orna's Chemistry class. They looked forward to the weekly classes and learnt a lot of wonderful science from all the fun experiments she conducted. Both of them can't wait to go back next year and take some more classes in person with her.

Dr. Orna is an awesome teacher. She is very interactive with her students and she keeps her students interested in class. The science experiments / projects are fun for my child. We love that she is attentive to the students’ questions and ideas. Dr. Orna makes learning science fun!

My twin boys have enjoyed the four days of the Olympics-themed sessions so far.. We signed up a little late and did not have time to get all the materials required but we were able to make do.

I would highly recommend this class to any space enthusiastic. This is the best class for space that I have been looking for my daughter for a while. Dr Orna has great knowledge and the way she teaches to kids with patience is incredible. She plans her class well and all information is provided before hand.

Highly recommend. Dr. Olna is a great teacher for biology for kids 9-12y. My son is 9y and he loved the energy and enthusiasm for science and teacher he received from Olna. She made concepts about plant cells and photosynthesis accessible and learnable via creative ideas for hands on activity.

My son has taken one class with Dr. Orna so far, and he loves it! She is a wonderful teacher. My son is learning and having fun at the same time. To me, that’s a sign of a great teacher. Dr. Orna is well organized, engaging, and passionate about teaching science. We look forward to taking more classes with Dr. Orna.

We have thoroughly enjoyed Dr. Orna’s Physics Time classes. She has a great way of communicating with the kids, is very patient and varies her modes of teaching to different learning styles. The experiments are hands on and fun and an excellent way to teach difficult concepts.

Highly recommend it. This class is a fun way to introduce kids to complex scientific concepts . My child has fun building things related to the concepts being taught and is very proud of the projects he has built so far. Dr Orna is very organized and knowledgable.
