The Compass School

The Compass School, a leading preschool in Ashburn, proudly opened its doors in 2013 to families seeking high-quality Reggio-Inspired early childhood education and child care in Loudoun County. Our Ashburn preschool and child care center has a capacity of 200 children and offers flexible full and part-time year-round programs including Infant, Toddler & Two’s, Preschool and Pre-K programs, as well as Kindergarten Enrichment,  Before & After School, and Summer Camp programs for school-age children.

In addition to the warm and engaging classroom spaces, The Compass School of Ashburn has an atelier for small group art projects, a light and shadow studio, and an indoor gross motor space for active play when the weather isn’t cooperating. In 2017, a fun “rec room” was created for children enrolled in after-school care in Ashburn, and for summer campers to enjoy. This area includes air hockey, foosball, pop-a-shot, a shuffleboard table, a ring toss game, a fish bowl toss game and more (Don’t worry Moms and Dads, you’re invited to join in the fun!).
