The Katmint Learning Initiative
The Katmint Learning Initiative is an affordable alternative for early childhood education coupled with progressive education components. We service all Brooklyn communities. Offering a diverse play-based curriculum for children ages 6 months – 4 years and school age.
AfterSchool Program: Our program is offered to elementary school students Up to the 5th grade. It is generally organized with learning objectives and enrichment programming in mind. The curriculum is used as a guide to expand and extend a student’s learning. Independence skills, academic skills, and social interactions are all primary components of the curriculum.

Our Staff
Vlada Georgieva currently the Lead Teacher for students ages 2-4 years of age at The Katmint! She attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst, graduating with her degree in Psychology. She assisted in many classrooms through various age groups with her student fieldwork and loved the energy and creativity harvested by her students which inspired her to further pursue life as a Teacher.
Watching children socialize and explore their world inspires her to be who she is. “I will soon be attending a Child Psychology program, in order to continue my path in this realm of education”. Outside of Katmint, she likes to spend as much of her time traveling as possible.
