Tumble Tech is a tumbling and trampoline program that caterers to all aerial sports including cheer, parkour, and acro.
Tumble Tech started with the promise of providing all athletes who have a passion for aerial sports a sanctuary that not only promotes athlete growth, but strives to be the most positive environment for all kids.
Its coaches work to captivate and grow kids to be the best athletes they can be while allowing themselves to grow as individuals.
Jerry Strickland
Trampoline and Tumbling Director
Jerry Strickland is a native Texan, born and raised in Amarillo. At the age of six Jerry was introduced to the trampoline, under the guidance of Gymnastics Association of Texas Hall of Fame coach Nard Cazzell. Jerry began coaching for Nard at fourteen, and by his late teens he was an internationally ranked elite trampolinist. In 1968 Jerry entered the University of Oklahoma, receiving a full scholarship as a member of the gymnastics team.
In 1973 Jerry was instrumental in creating and leading the Community Service Gymnastics Program at Amarillo Junior College, and in 1976, he and a partner opened the Amarillo School of Gymnastics. Following the untimely passing of his partner, Jerry continued to successfully operate ASG until 1986, when he relocated to Austin.
