UC Berkeley - Bay Area Writing Project - Summer Camps

The BAWP is a group of powerful, experienced teachers who teach teachers. They are an excellent group of consultants who, unlike most, actually work with kids. Far better than a corporate package, these phenomenal ladies and gentlemen believe in young people's words and ideas. Their workshops and professional development offerings show teachers how to make their classrooms into writing workshops, where students grow in their knowledge of various genres, of English conventions and grammatical structures, and of the community-based writing process.
