About
YMCA of Glendale

The YMCA of Glendale is a nonprofit that has been serving the surrounding community. The mission of the Y is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all, and we welcome and support children and families of ALL ages, religions, incomes and abilities.

Summer Day Camp: The YMCA of Glendale has a long tradition of hosting Day Camp for ages 5 to 14.  Each week is comprised of different activities and a field trip. Our Youth and Family programs will help youth develop confidence, learn new skills and have fun! This class is for non-swimmers. The emphasis is on comfort in the water, development of kicking, floating and arm paddles.

Youth Basketball: YMCA basketball is not just about sharpening shooting skills and making baskets, but about building skills that benefit mind, body and spirit. Participating in team sports when kids are young can build a life full of physical activity, but it also means improved cognitive function and social skills.

Youth Gymnastics: The YMCA of Glendale Gymnastics Center will instill a sense of confidence and strength in all participants, whether they are on our competitive gymnastics teams or in our parent- tots program. Our gymnastics program offers a variety of classes and activities for boys and girls of all ages, in a fun, safe and team building environment.

Youth Fitness and Dance: We offer a variety of youth dance and fitness classes that are the perfect place for youth to learn new skills and gain confidence! Youth will also fall in love with our fitness classes where they will learn new skills and confidence through practice and competition in the safe and nourishing environment of the YMCA.
