Yun Hua Fang Art Studio

Yun Hua Fang Art Studio in Saratoga, California offers summer camps in the creative arts for children of all ages. In our Pencil Sketch program, students will learn and explore difference grades of graphite pencils used by artists and strategies for sharpening their pencils in this course module. Our students will also be guided in understanding colors and visual effects, ways of combining them through our color theory program.

We also offer programs in Chinese Brush Painting or Chinese Calligraphy with an emphasis on still life and animals. This is one of the traditional main styles of Chines brush painting. These techniques emphasize the painter’s feelings by using a brush, ink and wash. This style is also referred to as freehand style. In this class, students will learn the basic brush strokes the way it is taught in China.
