Timanous

Boys return home more self-confident, independent and self-sufficient having spent a summer unplugged, having fun, learning new skills, enjoying the outdoors and making lifelong friends in a safe and nurturing environment. With 125 campers, we know each boy by name and can respond to their personal needs. Located on a beautiful lake in Southern Maine with one mile of shorefront. 90% of our staff were former Timanous campers, averaging over 10 years at camp. 26 states and 11 countries were represented in 2011. Campers choose from a variety of activities including sailing, woodshop, soccer, lacrosse, tennis, arts & crafts, basketball, team sports, riflery, archery, kayaking, climbing wall, water skiing, nature and more. Timanous also has a strong camping trip program.
