This class was fun for my 8 year old son because he had a chance to combine circuits and breadboarding with building a cool robot project that he could apply his coding skills and learnings to. I was impressed to learn that the company makes their own robotics kits and that what we took home (you have to purchase the kit for extra, but it's good value) was unique and not something you could get somewhere else. It also came with extra lessons, but he's taking the camp a second time to get deeper into the more advanced components.
My 6yo daughter learned coding for the first time, she loves working with Mrs Anna, it was a lot of fun to build in the Minecraft world.

We sent our 6yo daughter here because she loves Minecraft and we wanted to let her play with other kids who enjoy it too. After the first day, she complained that it was boring and that there was no server/realm for the kids to play together in. Everyone just played by themselves in single player worlds, instructed to build relatively simple things. There were no Star Wars themed builds or mazes. I'm sorry that I hyped this camp up to my daughter only to have her be disappointed by the false advertising. I suppose it's still a decent option to send your kids away to for the week if you don't care about the tech component.
Questions & Answers
Hi! I've never signed up for online camp before- for the Minecraft spring camp, how does this work? Are there prerequisites (eg. Skills already developed) or required materials we need to provide first? Thanks! (MODs in Minecraft! - Spring Break Live Online Camp) -

Hi there! Great question - nope, there are no pre-requisites other than the age requirement! Most kids have an interest in Minecraft. There is a software you will get a link to if you don't have it to install for free for the class, though. The live instructor will lead your kiddo and the rest of the class through the course projects and answer any and all questions as they progress and create! -
