We love Sunrise, especially the Venice location. Our alumni have been attending for years. The instructors are careful, kind, responsible, talented and patient. We have all good things to say about Sunrise Surf Academy. 100 percent recommend.

My 7-year-old son had a wonderful time at Venice camp. He loves learning surfing from the amazing Instructors and all the fun water activities at the beautiful beach. Instructors are fun, loving, caring and attentive, making the Sun Rise camp an ideal place for kids to spend summer days.

On a short trip to the coast and wanted to make the best of it; our 2 boys wanted to surf for the first time. Sunrise Surf made the process easy from the beginning. They even brought wetsuits & boards! Dane & Pako were absolutely amazing and made my boys feel comfortable! We accomplished about 159 things during our days in Cali, and the 90 minute surf lesson takes the lead!

The BEST surf camp in Los Angeles! The kids spend real time in the water learning how to surf. The counselors are REAL surfers that genuinely love being out there with them and literally cheer on every victory! They are diligent about water and sun safety. 5+++ stars!!
