During the school year, Miraloma Educational Enrichment Program (MEEP), is an academic and tutorial program for students in Kindergarten-Fifth Grade. Its main purpose is to provide a stimulating and enriching academic environment. Small camp, great for children that need structure and not get lost in a crowd. Fun activities, art projects, science stuff, field trips. No swimming :(. Located at Miraloma Elementary, nice neighborhood somewhat on the way to 280N from the Sunset!
One of the smartest steps we took to support our children's transition from PreSchool to Elementary School was enrolling them in MEEP Summer Camp the summer before they started Kinder. The warm, talented staff was so welcoming and did such a great job making sure every camper felt involved and included. In this safe, happy, playful environment my children started friendships that have endured as they have moved up through the grades. MEEP Summer Camp offers a very rich learning and social environment for its campers. The staff is very good about getting to know each child and considering his/her individual needs. I would highly recommend this fun-filled, nurturing camp.
MEEP Summer Camp has one of the best Art/Science programs in San Francisco! Creative art projects, revealing science discoveries, various field trips kept my kindergartner very curious and intellectually stimulated! My child felt safe and at ease with warm, personable and knoweledgeable staff of MEEP! Definitely signing up again this year!
We are great fans of Meep. Our kids love the counsellors and activities. Everyone knows their name, it is a very safe and enriching environment for them, which is very important for me. Your child will be very happy here.
My son really enjoyed his time at summer camp at MEEP. He has special needs and the level of understanding for his disabilities continues to amaze me. He has attended now for the fourth year. This has really been a blessing for me to have a safe and healthy enviroment for my son to be in that is not just someone's "job". Thank you!!
MEEPs has been a second family to us and our child since before she started kindergarden - over 6 years ago. We first signed up our now 5th grader for MEEPs summer camp to help ease her into elementary school and she has been going to them ever since. They have provided a variety of fun activities including field trips, sports, art, cooking, music and academics. The staff has repeatedly impressed us in their creativity, energy, and enthusiasm they bring to the programs they provide. They are loving and provide a fantastic space that has helped my child grow all these years!
What a fantastic place to send kids in the summer! My two younger children have always felt nurtured and safe at MEEP. One of them said that the only camp he wanted to do in the summer was MEEP. As a parent and a teacher, I appreciate the well trained staffed and organized programs. I am happy to have my kids at MEEP summer camp.
